I'm not sure if my child is ready for child care, I’m concerned they will have separation anxiety. What do you recommend I do?
Studies have shown that the earlier children start child care, the more advanced they become in their education, speech, social skills and all developmental milestones overall. Separation anxiety is a normal process that more than 90% of children will go through either in their infancy or when they go to kindergarten. We believe that it is important to enrol your child as soon as possible, so that when they do go through separation anxiety, they can get all the love and support from our highly qualified staff who specialise in this field. This is an advantage compared to kindergarten, where the teacher-to-child ratio is often higher, resulting in less nurture and care while your child goes through this milestone. We understand the concerns about entrusting your child’s well-being to someone else. To assist with this process, we offer a customized transition plan, working closely with you to ensure the smoothest and quickest transition possible. How much will my child care fees cost?
Everyone’s gap fee is different depending on the type of government subsidy you can get. We know that understanding how the government subsidy works can be confusing for families. We can support you in understanding the government benefit, providing a step-by-step guide on how to apply, and even give you an estimated quote tailored to your family. You may be surprised by how affordable your gap fee can be once you calculate the CCS benefit.
How do you ensure children stay hydrated throughout the day?
We provide water at every meal time (every 2 hours) and encourage children to drink regularly. We also monitor and refill their water bottles to ensure they stay hydrated.
Would your Centre assist my child to make friends?
Absolutely! When children are in a supportive environment away from their parents, they build increased confidence and independence, enabling them to discover their own identities. With the support of our educators, they learn to create meaningful friendships, improve their social skills, initiate new connections, and solve problems. These experiences prepare them to excel in any new settings, such as kindergarten. Additionally, we promote family connections for playdates outside of school, further enhancing their social experiences.
My child has a gentle nature, and I'm concerned about leaving them at childcare. How would you support them?
Gentle and sensitive personalities are recognised in our centre. They are supported and guided in learning to express themselves verbally, as well as developing skills to problem-solve and advocate for themselves before transitioning to kindergarten. Without the chance to practice these skills in a safe and supervised playground environment, they might find it challenging to navigate the kindergarten playground. We ensure we maintain a safe environment whilst building up their confidence and independence.
How do you manage illness and maintain cleanliness?
We recognise your concerns about children getting sick in child care. We completely understand your concerns about children getting sick in child care. Our centre is meticulously maintained, with a daily cleaning checklist and recent renovations to ensure a safe and clean environment. We go above and beyond standard practices of other centres, by using our own fogger machine to sanitise our rooms daily, effectively eliminating germs while using a non-toxic sanitiser. Additionally, our director strictly enforces a sick children policy to prevent ill children from attending. It’s also essential to understand that exposure to new germs is a natural part of building immunity, and keeping children away from child care can actually delay this process. Your child’s health and well-being are our top priorities.
